Adoul

Adoul are notaries operating under Islamic-law tradition in Morocco, authorised to draw up notarial deeds (actes adoulaires). Two adoul jointly sign a deed; the document is then homologated by a judge. Adoul certify customary tenure (melkia), inheritance, marriage and other personal-status matters.
