Immatriculation
Last updated: 29 April 2026
Immatriculation is the procedure by which an unregistered parcel — typically held under melkia — is incorporated into the Conservation Foncière registry and converted into a titre foncier. The procedure includes survey, public notification (bornage), opposition window, and decision by the Conservateur. Once published the resulting title is, in principle, unchallengeable.
